Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a box truck or other commercial vehicle to deliver goods to customers
• Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual labor
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering products in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the delivery vehicle to ensure its safe and proper functioning
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing orders for delivery

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience driving a box truck or other commercial vehicles preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading products
• Familiarity with operating forklifts or willingness to learn
• Proficient in driving vehicles with manual transmission
• Knowledge of refrigerated trailers and temperature control systems is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, as needed
