Delivery Driver / Operations / Customer Service Associate

Typical day to day responsibilities:

Unloading trucks (forklift) and stocking inventory in the warehouse Cutting and processing customer orders Delivery to customers and pickup of material from vendors (flat bed truck) Assisting with counter sales / processing orders in the ERP system All while maintaining a high standard of customer service & safety. If you are motivated to drive / operate equipment safely and deliver products to customers within deadlines, we can teach you the rest. We'll train you in operating our machines and working with different metals. If you're good with your hands, have attention to detail and you're motivated to learn, this is the right job for you! Your people skills and ability to meet deadlines makes customers feel important, validated and well-served. When you leave a customers' place of business, the customer is confident with their order and satisfied knowing their experience with Metal Supermarkets was a positive one.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely load and operate a 25'+ vehicle (F550 flatbed) to make customer deliveries Safely operate forklift to move material around the warehouse, unload/load trucks, etc Cut customer orders to customer specs using metal cutting equipment such as saws, hydraulic shear, etc. Receive, identify and stock incoming materials, as required Ensure Warehouse is clean, organized and safe at all times Handle walk-in / counter sales & pick ups Perform other duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

Available M-F, ~8a

• 5p. With 1x 30min unpaid lunch break + 2x 10min paid breaks Valid Driver's license, clean driving record and insurable Experience / comfort driving large vehicles (eg 25' long vehicle) and comfort training on a forklift (experience is a plus but not required) Ability to accurately use measuring instruments
• tape measures, dial calipers Physically able to frequently lift/move metal product weighing 50
• 100 lbs Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and written Excellent customer relationship skills

COMPENSATION

Hourly:

$18.50-20.00/hr (dependent on experience)

Target Bonus Range:

Up to $1/hr paid out quarterly based on individual and store performance Heath Insurance Cost Sharing program (ICHRA) after 60 days Colorado Sick Pay and PTO (after 12mos)
