Job Type:
Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a Program Delivery Specialist to support the implementation of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience through engaging program delivery, volunteer training, and community outreach. This role focuses on building strong participation and retention among girls and adult volunteers while delivering impactful youth programs across Vermont and parts of New Hampshire. This position requires significant travel (approximately 45-50%) , especially during the spring through fall seasons. Candidates must be comfortable with evening, weekend, and occasional overnight work , including supervising programs and summer camp operations. Key Responsibilities Deliver virtual and in-person youth programs to support membership engagement and retention. Plan, organize, and facilitate Girl Scout programs, workshops, and community events . Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative programs and engagement strategies. Manage programs from planning and budgeting through execution and evaluation . Support recruitment, training, and scheduling of volunteers and seasonal staff . Supervise and support summer camp and outdoor program operations . Build partnerships with community organizations and program vendors . Promote participation in Girl Scout programs, leadership initiatives, and council-wide events . Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience facilitating youth or adult programs . Experience with outdoor education, camps, or youth leadership programs preferred. Supervisory experience with youth programs or camp staff is a plus. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple teams. Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required for travel. Ability to travel across assigned districts in Vermont and New Hampshire . Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overnight programs when needed. First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain. Interest in outdoor activities or youth development programs is strongly preferred. Work Schedule Flexible schedule with 1-3 evenings per week and every other weekend . Peak seasons may require 3-4 weekends per month . Travel may include 3-4 days per week during spring through fall and 1-2 trips every two weeks during winter/early spring .
