Summary:
Oregon Ice Cream is seeking a reliable CDL Driver with clerical and warehouse support experience to join our team. This hybrid role combines safe and efficient transport of finished goods with clerical responsibilities to support warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable moving between physical driving/warehouse duties and administrative support tasks. Key Responsibilities Driving & Delivery Safely operate a commercial vehicle (CDL required) to transport finished goods between warehouse, production facilities, and distribution centers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate delivery records, bills of lading, and required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations. Ensure timely, courteous, and professional deliveries while upholding product quality standards. Warehouse & Clerical Support Assist in finished goods inventory control , including verifying shipments, updating counts, and preparing documentation. Process and file shipping/receiving documents, invoices, and clerical records related to product movement. Support data entry into warehouse systems (ERP or other inventory platforms). Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to track orders, deliveries, and schedules. Provide administrative assistance to the warehouse supervisor, including generating reports and maintaining records. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record. Minimum 1-2 years of professional driving experience (refrigerated product experience a plus). Previous clerical, administrative, or warehouse office support experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and/or warehouse management systems. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with team members, supervisors, and customers. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse/freezer environment as needed. Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills. Schedule & Work Environment Full-time position with a blend of driving routes and in-warehouse clerical support . May require occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime based on delivery schedules. Work performed in both office/clerical setting and warehouse/freezer environment.
