PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening visitors, verifying identification and credentials, and controlling access to authorized areas within a government location. Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or designated access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and support established security-related protocols. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff, visitors, and/or public agency representatives as needed. Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, key and badge activity, and other required documentation related to access control and daily post operations. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, facility issues, and/or situations requiring security-related response.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

A DPSS/DHS COLA

with tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations is required. At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
