AM How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:

In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at an automotive location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access through visible presence and consistent application of post instructions. Complete routine reports, logs, and/or incident documentation while communicating clearly with supervisors, team members, and site personnel regarding security-related concerns and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age. Alarm panel experience is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
