Bear Island Distributors is a family-owned craft beer and wine distribution company serving the entire state of South Carolina. We're passionate about our products and building strong relationships with our retail and restaurant partners.
Job Summary:
We're currently hiring a part-time Local Delivery Driver based in or near Hilton Head Island, SC . This position is responsible for delivering craft beer and wine to accounts in the Hilton Head area on Wednesdays and Fridays . Routes are local and manageable in a single day, with no overnight travel. This is a great entry-level opportunity into the beverage distribution industry for someone looking for consistent, part-time work with a growing company.
Responsibilities:
Meet transfer delivery truck to get product for the day Deliver beer and wine to local retail and restaurant accounts Provide invoices with accurate pricing Collect payments from select accounts as needed Pick up empty kegs belonging to our brands Maintain a clean and professional appearance Communicate with our Charleston-based team for support and coordination Represent our company in a courteous and respectful manner
Requirements:
Must be dependable and punctual Clean driving record Able to lift up to 120 lbs (e.g., kegs, cases) Strong attention to detail and good communication skills Based in or near Hilton Head Island, SC Experience in delivery or beverage industry is a plus, but not required
