Route Delivery Driver - $15/hr +commision

Role Overview:

Performs Pick up and Delivery to clients' homes and offices, typically twice weekly. Promotes business and services for the company. Works independently to acquire, retain, and ascend clients.

Your Team:

Reports directly to the Production Team Leader Key Responsibilities (roles): Picks up and delivers items to route clients. Courteous and defensive driving. Leaves finished items in a safe location, protected from inclimate weather. Load all items in the company work vehicle, careful to not wrinkle or drag clothing. Checks with the Production Team Leader before leaving to coordinate any last minute pick-ups or deliveries. Verifies that all invoices for each pick-up and delivery are accounted for. Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups on the manifest, ensuring that all bags are labeled with client information. Turns in all paperwork at the end of their daily route. Advises Production Team Leader if delivery trucks need repairs and maintenance. Maintain all necessary supplies on the truck. Promotes business through networking and business card placement at businesses throughout the city. Maintenance checks inside and out. Keeps the vehicle clean and washed. Maintains and protects all company equipment and customer data. Including phone, manifest, etc. Immediately tells the Production Team Leader of any damage to the vehicle or any involvement in an accident. Observes and follows all local, state and federal driving laws. Keeps the truck fueled up using the company fleet gas card. Performs other duties as assigned. Maintains professional appearance in company uniform. Maintains professional language and communication at all times. Keeps client lists and information confidential as it is property of the company. Key Competencies:

Good communicator across all lines of business communication. Positive attitude. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Driving experience six months to a year is preferred. Must be able to pass an initial UA drug screen, and random tests thereafter. Active driver's license with 3 or less moving violations over the past 36 months. Must be pre-approved to drive from our insurance company. Follow directions. Maintain route. Well-mannered and courteous. Friendly and outgoing. Create a positive client experience. Great initiative, on time, and dependable. Keep up with personal appearance and hygiene. Good time management.

Physical Requirements:

Well dressed, groomed, and excellent personal hygiene. Regular lifting of 20 pounds. Occasional lifting of 50 pounds or more. Exposure to the elements, including driving hazards.

Conditions:

On the road driving in the company work vehicle most of the day. Loading up and dropping off at the production workshop which can be a hot environment. Fast paced environment. Must be able to work under pressure. Must always default to being a defensive and courteous driver. Occasionally must deal with pets and family members of the client

Key Performance Indicators:

Revenue per client served. Weekly route sales.

Professional/Educational Background:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Training Schedule:

Driving experience six months to a year is preferred. Driver Training Program - 5 days Ongoing safe driving training

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
