Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products to our customers while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage a delivery route efficiently, and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction. The Route Driver will also have opportunities for upselling products during deliveries. Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver products to designated locations. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals. Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates and address any concerns. Provide outstanding customer service during each delivery, fostering positive relationships. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including inventory and sales transactions. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road. Requirements SC DL required with clean driving history Bread delivery/ sales requires early morning hours. Typical work week is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Start times are typically 3am most days. Proven experience in route driving or delivery services is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the day. Previous experience in sales or upselling is a plus. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service at all times.
