FedEx Delivery Driver - Chamberlain, SD

Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle physical demands associated with loading and unloading products. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload products efficiently, utilizing equipment such as wheel carts when necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route. Communicate effectively with managers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues. Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred but not necessary. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse setting is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing deliveries and paperwork. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances on the road.
