Memphis Millwork About Us Memphis Millwork is a leading provider of custom millwork and architectural woodwork for residential and commercial projects. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, precision, and delivering exceptional results for our clients. We are seeking a dependable and motivated Delivery Driver to support the transportation and delivery of custom architectural millwork products throughout the Memphis area. Position Overview The Delivery Driver plays a critical role in ensuring premium cabinets, countertops, trim, doors, and millwork products are delivered safely, professionally, and on time to active construction sites and customers. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to representing the company professionally in the field. This position requires strong organizational skills, careful handling of high-end finished products, and the ability to communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, customers, and shop personnel. Key Responsibilities Safely operate company trucks and trailers for local deliveries throughout the Memphis area. Load, secure, transport, and unload premium cabinets, countertops, trim, doors, and millwork products without damage. Verify deliveries against packing slips and communicate any discrepancies or damages immediately. Deliver materials to active construction sites, commercial projects, and residential locations. Assist with organizing and staging materials for efficient loading and unloading. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of company vehicles and trailers. Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations as applicable. Communicate professionally with project managers, shop personnel, contractors, and customers. Assist with warehouse or shop support duties as needed between deliveries. Represent Memphis Millwork professionally while working at customer and jobsite locations. Qualifications Clean driving record required. Ability to safely drive small trucks and trailers. Knowledge of the Memphis and surrounding area preferred. Ability to lift 75 lbs or more repeatedly throughout the workday. Strong attention to detail and commitment to handling high-end products carefully. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience delivering cabinetry, millwork, construction materials, or furniture preferred but not required. Skills & Competencies Strong commitment to safety and responsible vehicle operation. Attention to detail and careful handling of finished products. Professional and courteous communication with customers and coworkers. Ability to work independently while managing delivery schedules efficiently. Dependable and punctual work ethic. Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing jobsite conditions. Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive lifting and material handling tasks. Collaborative approach with shop and operations teams. Physical Requirements Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of heavy materials. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb in warehouse and construction site environments. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Work Environment This position involves daily travel to active construction sites, warehouses, and customer locations. Candidates should be comfortable working around construction activity and handling finished architectural products with care and professionalism.
