Job Description

Ready to kick start your career? Our outstanding team of automotive dealership professionals has helped us grow Sterling to a network of 5 brands in Bryan/College Station. These include Cadillac, Buick, GMC, Subaru, and Kia. We are seeking knowledgeable, energetic people to join our growing Parts Department. The Parts Department Driver is a full-time, hourly, position responsible for making wholesale part deliveries to various external wholesale customers as well as internal parts transfers between dealerships.

Parts Driver Responsibilities:

Daily Delivery of auto parts between departments. Responds to Department managers parts or information requests quickly and efficiently. Daily delivery of parts to various local wholesale customers from Sterling's parts warehouse. Assists with loading and unloading of parts on truck. Daily stocking of incoming parts. Daily scrapping used tires and trash. Pulling parts to deliver to shop as needed.

Parts Driver Qualifications:

Must have a clean and valid driver's license, and exhibit safe driving habits.. Must have significant experience driving 1/2 ton delivery truck and 1 ton van. Must have proven track record of being reliable on the job. Prior parts delivery experience a plus. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Effective communication and customer service skills, and able to maintain a professional image and demeanor. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Positive attitude is a must.
