Industrial Delivery Driver

Job Overview We are looking for a dependable Industrial Delivery Driver to support our DFW / North Texas service area. This role is responsible for local customer pickups and deliveries, parts runs to vendors, and customer-facing route support. This is an active, hands-on position. When delivery schedules are light, the driver will not simply wait for the next delivery. Instead, the driver will visit nearby customers and prospects for in-person check-ins, relationship support, and basic customer service follow-up. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, dependable, comfortable driving in the DFW / North Texas area, and professional when interacting with customers and vendors. Key Responsibilities Complete local pickups and deliveries to customer locations throughout the DFW / North Texas area. Complete local parts runs to vendors as needed. Safely load, transport, secure, and unload radiators, parts, and related industrial equipment. Operate a company-provided pickup truck, bobtail truck, and truck with trailer as needed. Safely secure loads for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, service records, and required documentation. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Communicate professionally with management, dispatch, customers, and vendors. Provide route updates, customer feedback, and issue reports to management. Visit nearby customers and prospects when making deliveries in the area. Maintain positive customer relationships through professional in-person communication. Follow all company safety requirements, traffic laws, and applicable DOT requirements. Keep assigned vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked. Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday Day shift 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 30-minute lunch break Approximately 42.5 hours per week Overtime may be required based on business needs, including staying past 5:00 PM when necessary. Qualifications Valid driver's license required. Clean driving record required. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check. Previous route driving, delivery, or industrial driving experience preferred. Must be able to safely operate a pickup truck. Must be able to operate a bobtail truck. Must be able to operate a truck with trailer. Must be able to safely secure loads for transport. Must be dependable, punctual, and professional. Must be self-motivated and able to stay productive throughout the day. Must be comfortable interacting with customers, vendors, and prospects. Must be able to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and work independently. Must be available for overtime when needed. Physical Requirements Ability to load, unload, lift, move, and secure industrial parts and equipment. Ability to climb in and out of trucks and trailers. Ability to work in varying weather conditions. Ability to perform physical work safely and consistently.
