Part-time / Temporary / Flexible moving work Job Description Silver Birch Moving Co. is adding experienced movers and drivers to our approved job roster for upcoming moving jobs. This role is best for people who already have professional moving, furniture delivery, appliance delivery, or heavy furniture-handling experience. We are looking for dependable workers who know how to protect furniture, work safely, follow direction, and represent the company professionally on customer jobs. Work is based on job availability. Strong performers may be considered for more consistent work as opportunities become available. Responsibilities Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and household items Wrap, pad, and protect furniture properly Carry and move heavy items carefully Help keep trucks organized and job sites clean Work professionally with customers and teammates Follow directions from the crew lead or driver Show up on time for accepted jobs Driver Requirements For driver roles: Valid driver's license Clean driving record preferred Comfortable driving 26 ft box truck Must be 21 or older for driver positions Qualifications Moving experience strongly preferred Professional furniture delivery, appliance delivery, or heavy furniture-handling experience may be considered Able to lift 75-100+ lbs Professional attitude with customers Works well with a team Reliable when scheduled Takes care with customer belongings Comfortable with physical work Pay Pay ranges from $15-$25/hour based on experience, role, reliability, and performance $25/hour is the top hourly rate for this position Customer tips may be earned in addition to hourly pay Bonuses are not guaranteed and may be considered for exceptional performance, leadership, or high-quality work Pay increases are based on consistency, job performance, customer care, and dependability Important This is flexible moving work.
