GED Full Job Description Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. The Parts Delivery Driver will play a critical role in our parts department, assisting with the timely delivery of parts and supplies to service technicians and ensuring the efficient operation of the service department, including helping manage the parts warehouse and stock.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the picking, packing, and staging of parts orders for delivery to service technicians. Load parts and supplies onto delivery vehicles and ensure that they are properly secured for transportation. Deliver parts and supplies to service technicians in a timely manner, ensuring that they have the necessary items to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians to coordinate delivery schedules and address any urgent parts needs. Assist with the receipt and stocking of incoming parts shipments, including unloading delivery trucks and organizing parts inventory as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles, including regular cleaning and maintenance checks. Manage order pulling for employees and customers. Promptly notify management of customer issues, returns and problems with delivery as necessary. Ensure proper disposal of parts within factory, company and environmental guidelines. Initiate all paperwork relating to damages/shortages and vendor returns. Participate in perpetual inventory counts. Safely and efficiently drive delivery vehicles to and from the dealership, parts suppliers, and other locations as needed. Provide prompt and efficient delivery of parts to wholesale customers thru on-site delivery service. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and operating delivery vehicles.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience as a delivery driver or parts runner preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with service department staff and customers. Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy parts and supplies. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain accurate delivery records and ensure timely deliveries. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet delivery deadlines. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns is important.
