Job Description
Authorized independent distributor of premium deli products. We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Warehouse Associate & Route Delivery Driver to join our operations. This full-time position split duties between inventory management inside our refrigerated warehouse and commercial route delivery. The ideal candidate is a disciplined professional with commercial driving experience, strong time-management skills, and a commitment to maintaining premium brand standards. Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations:
Work efficiently within a refrigerated warehouse environment to receive, organize, and prepare product inventory. Accurately pull product and load orders for daily routes.Route Delivery:
Operate a 14-foot refrigerated commercial box truck (non-CDL) to execute multi-stop deliveries to supermarket and foodservice accounts throughout the Greater Houston area.Account Management:
Act as a professional representative of the business. Itemize and check in deliveries with store receivers, and ensure exceptional customer service.Physical Demands:
Frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. Frequently maneuver heavy carts, dollies, and pallet jacks to safely transfer product. Required Talents and BackgroundVerifiable Driving Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience operating medium-duty commercial trucks (under 26,000 lbs.).Industry Experience:
Previous professional experience in a supermarket, grocery, or foodservice delivery environment is highly preferred.Geographic Knowledge:
Strong operational familiarity with the highways and commercial routes of the Greater Houston and surrounding areas.Professional Competencies:
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Proven ability to manage time efficiently with strong attention to detail. Qualifications and Requirements- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Possess a valid Driver's License with a clean, insurable driving record .
- Ability to provide proof of personal vehicle insurance with liability coverage.
- Must pass initial and random drug screenings.
- Capability to withstand prolonged exposure to cold temperatures in a refrigerated warehouse environment.
