Part-time; hours vary based on events, weather, catering bookings, and business needs. Employees should expect anywhere from 8-32 hours per week .
Schedule:
Typically Wednesday-Saturday (additional event days as needed) Job Overview That 1 Place! Food Truck is seeking a dependable, self-motivated team member who can independently operate many aspects of our food truck business. This position requires someone who is comfortable working alone, serving customers, preparing food, handling transactions, and performing setup and breakdown duties without assistance. Work hours, locations, start times, and end times may vary depending on events, catering opportunities, weather conditions, and business needs. Responsibilities Load and unload food, supplies, equipment, tables, and other necessary items before and after each shift without assistance Hook up, transport, position, and disconnect the company food trailer Perform complete setup and breakdown of the food truck operation Operate the cash register/POS system Prepare, cook, and serve menu items Restock inventory and monitor supplies Clean and sanitize the truck, equipment, and work areas Open and close the business independently when assigned Attend community events, festivals, private catering, and other off-site locations Provide friendly and professional customer service Follow all food safety and company procedures Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Valid driver's license required Current personal auto insurance required Reliable personal transportation to and from work Must be able to provide a current driving record upon request Must maintain an acceptable driving record throughout employment Ability to tow and maneuver a trailer (experience preferred) Must obtain or currently possess a valid Food Handler's Certificate Ability to lift, carry, load, and unload up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift Comfortable working independently with little to no supervision Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions Dependable, punctual, and professional Important Notes Applicant must have reliable transportation to report to work. Personal vehicles will not be used to tow the food trailer. This position requires independent loading, unloading, setup, and breakdown of equipment and supplies. Employee will be required to work alone during some shifts and events. Employment is contingent upon verification of work eligibility, proof of auto insurance, review of driving record, and successful completion of any required background screening.
