Job Description
Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting appliances to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, assembly/install, and experience with route driving. If you enjoy being on the road and have a passion for delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, 26ft Box truck experience preferred Load and unload products at various locations, ensuring that items are handled with care. Assemble/install using drills, measuring tape, level, etc. Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading tasks. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in warehouse settings is advantageous, providing insight into logistics operations.
