As an Appliance Delivery and Installation Professional, you will be the face ofGOEN CONNOR
LLC, responsible for the safe transport, delivery, and professional installation of major home appliances (e.g., refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers) to our customers' homes and businesses. You will ensure that every delivery is executed flawlessly, appliances are installed according to manufacturer specifications, and the customer is fully satisfied with the service.Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company 26ft box truck (non-CDL) to transport appliances from the warehouse to customer locations.
- Load, secure, unload, and maneuver heavy appliances using proper equipment (e.g., hand trucks, dollies, straps) to prevent damage to the product and the customer's property.
- Install major home appliances, including connecting water lines, gas lines (if certified/applicable), and electrical cords, ensuring all connections are secure and leak-free.
- Test installed appliances to ensure full functionality and provide a brief demonstration to the customer on basic operation and maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively, arriving on time, and addressing any customer questions or concerns during the delivery process.
- Safely disconnect and remove old appliances from the customer's premises for proper disposal or recycling.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Minimum of 1+ year of experience in appliance delivery and installation, or a closely related field.- Valid state Driver's License with a clean driving record. (Class E or commercial license preferred, depending on state requirements).
- Must possess a valid, current DOT Medical Card.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with DOT regulations for interstate driving.
- Ability to consistently lift, push, pull, and maneuver heavy objects (up to 100+ lbs) safely, often navigating stairs and tight spaces.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use basic hand tools and understand installation instructions.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check, drug screening, and MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check. What We Offer
