The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, making use of your own personal vehicle, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading tasks. If you have experience driving for Uber, Lyft, Postmates, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities To deliver a small delivery route for FedEx. Candidates will meet with a supervisor to obtain packages. Must have a smartphone (iOS/Android) or smart device (tablet) with cellular service to utilize clock in app and routing technologies. Must deliver the entire route assigned and return scanner technology at the end of route. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate delivery records. Communicate effectively regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Compensation/Benefits $35.00 per day (flat rate) + $1.15 per stop + $0.10 per package That is Up to $140 per day! Average 50-80 Stops per day We reimburse fuel Flexible schedule Paid training Skills/Qualifications Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver Excellent organizational and time management skills Experience with route driving and familiarity with local roadways. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age Must be able to pass a drug test Valid driver's license Must own and use your own vehicle Must have proof of Insurance Must have proof of registration Vehicle must be in good operating condition and be 2012 or newer Shift Morning/Day Shift Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week, more if you want
