Job Description

Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity for a part-time Child Nutrition Delivery Driver within our Child Nutrition Department . This position plays an essential role in supporting the district's school nutrition program by ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of meals, food orders, and equipment to designated schools and program locations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading deliveries, reviewing orders for accuracy, maintaining delivery schedules, and performing routine vehicle inspections and cleanliness checks. Candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, able to work independently, and maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Pay:
$21.11+ based on experience Schedule available: Monday-Friday, 5. 5 hr/day 6:00a-11:30a Primary job duties include but are not limited to the following: Safely transport prepared meals and supplies between schools and satellite locations. Maintain route expectations and standards set by managers. Ensure food is delivered on time while maintaining proper temperature and quality during transit. Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation, including checking fuel, tires, and overall condition. Secure food containers and equipment to prevent spills, contamination, or damage during transit Clean and sanitize transportation carts, and equipment after each use. Load and unload food containers, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently at designated locations. Provide friendly and professional service while interacting with school staff and colleagues.
