Job Description
Meade Concrete Company manufactures and delivers precast septic tanks and various other products. The primary duty of this position is to load and deliver septic tanks within a 50 mile radius. Experience operating a crane truck is preferred but will train the right applicant. This is a part-time position and perfect for someone who may be retired or just looking for some extra money and/or something to fill their time. The hours would generally be 6:30 am to 1:00 pm Monday through Friday; however the actual hours may vary. Applicants should have a Class A CDL with a clean driving record. Basic qualifications Class A CDL with clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in construction or manufacturing is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Ability to climb up and down into a truck. Basic understanding of safety regulations in a manufacturing environment. Preferred qualifications Experience operating a crane truck Previous experience in precast concrete production or related field. Familiarity with operating heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
