Pay raise opportunity at 2 months, 6 months and 12 months of employment Position Summary This position is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient unloading of materials from DOT-regulated vehicles, with occasional loading responsibilities. The role ensures all deliveries comply with federal and state transportation regulations. Key duties include verifying product to shipping documents, securing loads, and maintaining clear communication with drivers, onsite personnel, logistics staff, and customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and physically capable of handling repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday Schedule varies depending on deliveries, Monday through Friday work week. (Start hours can range as early as 12:30 AM - 5:00 AM; until route is completed.) Key Responsibilities Safely transport and deliver materials to various customer locations following assigned routes and schedules. Load and unload delivery vehicles, with a primary focus on unloading. Inspect vehicles before and after trips; report mechanical issues, defects, or accidents promptly. Maintain accurate delivery records and verify all loading paperwork and shipment details. Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times. Communicate professionally with customers, drivers, onsite personnel, and logistics staff. Represent Counter-Form, LLC in a professional and courteous manner. Perform other warehouse or delivery-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery or route driver. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 50-100 pounds and sit/drive for extended periods. Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills. Willingness to undergo background and drug screening. Must meet minimum age and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) requirements per company insurance policy. Employment Standards Ability to read and interpret delivery orders and release paperwork. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and accuracy. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of material handling and warehouse practices. Physical Demands Frequent (30%): Standing, walking, lifting carrying up to 75lbs, gripping and handling materials. Primary (50-75%): Repetitive wrist/shoulder movement, depth perception, distinguishing colors, close and distance vision, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination. Occasional (<25%): Pushing, pulling, and reaching. Cognitive and Reasoning Requirements Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing delivery schedules. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a dynamic work environment. Comfortable using GPS/maps and adjusting routes as needed. Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external contacts. Working Conditions Work performed in warehouse and loading dock environments. Exposure to consistent noise levels (under 80 dB). Must be able to work in various weather conditions during unloading or delivery routes.
