POSITION SUMMARY
The Patient Services Representative (PSR) compiles ordered pharmaceuticals, supplies, and equipment and delivers same to patients' homes in an accurate, courteous, and timely manner. The PSR is familiar with patients, medications, supplies, and equipment, and techniques to prevent the spread of infection. The PSR is familiar with and assists in product ordering, receiving, stocking, shipping, and equipment. The PSR works under the limited supervision of the Warehouse Operations Manager.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Knowledge of delivery and service areas required. Inventory monitoring and warehouse skills preferred.
Miscellaneous:
Current driver's license with a good driving record free of restrictions. Must be able to work flexible hours, including some on-call responsibility. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from both the ground and table height. Must be able to carry 50 pounds while walking 20 feet.
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates delivery of medication and supplies to assure timely, safe, and accurate delivery to patients. Assembles and packages orders for delivery and maintains delivery schedule. Assists by picking orders and preparing for delivery as needed. Oversees maintenance of company owned vehicles to ensure that they are clean and in proper running order. Tracks invoices and maintenance schedules on each vehicle. Develops and maintains statistics regarding the delivery services (e.g., delivery logs, packing slips). Participates in Performance Improvement activities on a monthly basis. Performs deliveries as needed. Maximizes the efficiency and productivity of delivery operations. Performs designated hazardous waste management and disposal activities; maintains records as required. Maintains delivery schedule and communicates with all staff on status of deliveries. Acts as primary contact for outside courier services as needed to ensure proof of delivery (e.g., CS Logistics, UPS, etc.). Communicates with clinical teams to ensure complete and accurate deliveries, including patient education and reimbursement documentation. Assists with inventory as needed (e.g., order placement, receiving orders, shelving inventory, rotating stock, notating shortages). Ensures that warehouse area is neat, clean, and orderly. Develop, implement, and/or revise routing schedule consistent with patient orders, maximizing PSR efficiency and minimizing need for overtime and/or excessive utilization of outside courier services. Performs other duties as assigned. Acts as preceptor for new staff. Provides overview of position to visitors/guests.
