Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver and Warehouse Operations Associate! In this energetic role, you will be the vital link between our warehouse and customers, ensuring timely deliveries and smooth warehouse functions. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help us provide exceptional service, maintain efficient operations, and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities include:
- Daily communication with BPI Color internal teams and customers
- Assembling delivery orders paying close attention to detail to ensure the delivery of the correct supplies and equipment
- Assist in equipment delivery, installation, and relocations
- Assisting in planning delivery routes to maximize efficiency and speed
- Carry a cell phone to communicate with BPI offices throughout the day
- Going above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service
- The Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operations/Production person will be an important resource for all tasks, questions or concerns related to the warehouse, delivery, fleet operations and many production related tasks
- Inventory Management
- Maintaining a clean and well-organized warehouse
- Assisting with shop cleanliness
Skills and Experience:
- High school education or equivalent
- Valid Wisconsin Driver License and be comfortable driving all types of delivery vehicles including full size vans and pulling a single axel trailer
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- 1-2 years' customer service experience or interaction preferred
- Excellent driving record
- Working knowledge of the Greater Milwaukee Metro area
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs. and work in a standing position for long periods throughout each shift
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Time management and organizational skills, especially in coordinating deliveries between BPI facilities and customers
