Full Job Description Job Summary:
Schlossmann Subaru City Of Milwaukee, a leading automotive dealership in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time Automotive Parts Driver to join our team. This position is a crucial role in our dealership, responsible for delivering automotive parts to vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automotive parts, excellent customer service skills, and a valid driver's license.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly position with a starting compensation of $18 per hour. In addition, our company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver automotive parts to customers and vendors in a timely manner Load and unload parts onto the company vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing for safe transport Check and verify parts against invoices and order sheets to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliveries Collect payments for COD orders and maintain proper records of transactions Keep a clean and organized delivery vehicle, including regular maintenance and inspections Provide exceptional customer service when delivering parts, including answering any questions or concerns Assist with inventory management and stocking shelves when not delivering parts
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Previous experience in the automotive industry and a strong knowledge of automotive parts Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle customer complaints or concerns Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic math and computer skills
