Job Description
Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community while working on a casual (as-needed) basis, and earn a little extra money? Join our team at the Marion County Senior Citizens Center as a Hot-Cold Truck Driver and help deliver nutritious meals to seniors who depend on them! Position Type Part-Time / Casual (as needed) Generally works Wednesdays, and may also work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Great for retirees, caregivers, or anyone seeking supplemental income Non-exempt Hourly Wage Range $11
- $15 /hour Reports to the Nutrition Coordinator Purpose Under general guidance, drives a company hot/cold-truck over established routes or within an established territory to deliver meals and/or supplies to MCSC, Inc.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Ability to work in varying weather conditions. Must be able to enter and exit vehicle multiple times per shift.Physical Demands:

Majority of work is performed in and around a vehicle, with frequent stops at client residences.Indoor/Outdoor Conditions :
Exposed to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow while loading/unloading and delivering meals.Client Homes :
May encounter a variety of home environments, including pets, smoke, or uneven walking surfaces.Noise Level :
Moderate noise level from vehicle operation and occasional client interaction.Pace :
The role may involve a fast-paced schedule to ensure timely delivery of meals to multiple clients.Safety :
Must follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and infection control procedures, and be prepared to respond to emergencies. This job description is intended to be ADA-compliant. Qualifications Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. Experience in food delivery or transportation preferred.
