Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated US Coast Guard (USCG) 6 Pack Captain to lead and operate recreational and commercial vessels with expertise, confidence, and safety at the forefront. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for navigating waterways, managing crew and passenger safety, and ensuring compliance with all maritime regulations. Your leadership will help create memorable experiences on the water while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety. Pre Employment Drug Test and USCG Physical Operate vessels safely and efficiently, adhering to all US Coast Guard regulations and maritime laws. Conduct rigging inspections, maintenance checks, and mechanical assessments to guarantee vessel readiness. Navigate waterways using charts, GPS, radar, and other navigational tools with precision. Communicate effectively with passengers, crew, and emergency responders during routine operations or in emergency situations. Enforce safety protocols onboard, including life-saving procedures, safety drills, and proper use of safety equipment. Maintain detailed logs of vessel activities, maintenance records, and incident reports to ensure compliance and operational transparency. Experience Proven experience operating vessels as a licensed USCG 6 Pack Captain or equivalent maritime certification. Background in military service or related management roles that demonstrate leadership skills in high-pressure environments. Strong mechanical knowledge of vessel systems, rigging techniques, and maintenance procedures. Familiarity with maritime navigation tools such as GPS, radar, sonar, and charts. Demonstrated ability to manage crew members effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and customer service. Knowledge of US Coast Guard regulations related to vessel operation and safety standards is essential. Pay:
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour Application Question(s): Alaska State Law Kenai Dip Netting participants even the USCG Lic Captain to be an Alaska Resident. Alaska Residency is required by Law for the Captain.
