Job Description
Join our unique team as a sailboat Captain and lead exciting maritime adventures with confidence and expertise! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating vessels, managing crew and passengers, and ensuring smooth, enjoyable experiences on the water. Requesting 25, 50 and 100 Ton Captains apply. Sailing endorsement on MMC highly preferred! Your leadership will set the tone for safety, professionalism, and memorable journeys. We value energetic individuals who are passionate about boating, possess strong mechanical and management skills, and have a background that includes military experience or rigging expertise. This paid position offers an engaging environment where your skills make waves! Responsibilities Safely operate and navigate small passenger catameran, ensuring compliance with all maritime safety regulations and protocols Manage crew assignments, oversee vessel maintenance, and coordinate daily operations to guarantee efficient service Conduct pre-departure safety checks, including rigging inspections and mechanical assessments to prevent issues during trips Lead onboard management of passenger activities, providing excellent customer service while maintaining safety standards Oversee vessel rigging setups, troubleshooting mechanical systems as needed to ensure optimal performance Communicate effectively with crew members, passengers, and emergency responders in all situations Maintain detailed logs of trips, safety inspections, maintenance activities, and crew schedules to ensure regulatory compliance Experience Experience with maritime operations highly preferred Strong knowledge of rigging techniques and mechanical systems related to vessel operation Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on boats Prior experience in leadership roles within maritime or related fields is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your leadership drives memorable waterborne experiences!
