This is a hands-on operational role focused on safe, efficient vessel operations, cargo oversight, and the protection of commercial interests in port.
Key focus areas:
Lead cargo operations (loading/discharge, stowage, cargo care) Act as the company's representative in port—resolving issues in real time Advise chartering and vessel teams on operational performance Build relationships with terminals, agents, and service providers Ensure compliance, safety, and cost control across all activities
Profile:
Chief Officer or former Master Mariner Strong U.S. port / cargo operations experience Commercially minded with strong communication skills Must have U.S. work authorization
