Job Overview We are seeking an energetic Captain for our Fishing Charter (6 Pack) operation. Fishing experience not necessary, will train. Trips usually begin at 8am and are usually between 2-4 hours, we usually have multiple trips a day. Boat is in the water, no trailering of the vessel necessary. Responsibilities Safely operate and navigate the fishing vessel, ensuring compliance with all maritime laws and safety protocols Lead fishing trips, providing expert guidance and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience Manage vessel rigging, maintenance, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety Oversee crew management, including scheduling, training, and assigning duties during trips Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vessel's safety equipment and fishing gear Communicate effectively with guests, crew, and emergency responders when necessary Maintain detailed logs of trips, safety checks, maintenance activities, and incident reports Requirements Valid U.S. Coast Guard Captain's license No fishing experience necessary, will train Will assist employee with obtaining Charter Captain License.
