Delivery Captain- Boat Hauler

21.00 - $26.00 per hour Job description: Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting boats safely and efficiently. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service. Experience is required. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely pick ups while maintaining the highest standards of service. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport boats from the customers lake to our Indianapolis location for winter storage. Load and unload boats safely & efficiently with use of a haul trailer. Ensure timely pick up of boats while adhering to scheduled routes. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and verifying pick up times. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle. Assist with check in photos and tagging of boats after each pick up. Drive manual transmission vehicles as required. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred. Familiarity with watercraft hauling is a must. Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Experience with loading and unloading products efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Knowledge of operating watercrafts is a plus. Ability to navigate using maps or GPS systems effectively.
