The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with rigging and maritime operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in the military or maritime management to lead boat excursions, coordinate crew, and maintain vessel safety standards. Duties Safely operate and navigate boats according to maritime regulations and company policies Manage crew members, assign duties, and oversee daily operations onboard Conduct pre-departure inspections, including rigging checks and mechanical assessments Ensure all safety equipment is functional and compliant with safety standards Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of vessel systems Coordinate loading, unloading, and securing of cargo or passengers Enforce safety protocols and provide safety briefings to passengers and crew Maintain detailed logs of trips, maintenance activities, and safety checks Qualifications Proven experience as a Boat Captain or in a similar maritime management role Strong mechanical knowledge related to boat systems and rigging procedures Prior military experience is highly desirable for leadership and discipline skills Demonstrated management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively Knowledge of maritime laws, navigation, and safety regulations Ability to perform rigging tasks and basic mechanical troubleshooting Valid boating license or captain's certification as required by local regulations Excellent communication skills and attention to detail This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, leadership, and operational excellence on the water.
