Introduction to the job At Technip Singapore, we are looking for an experienced Deck Supervisor to join our multicultural offshore workforce, supporting TechnipFMC Marine Operations Services (T-MOS) by operating and maintaining construction and pipelay equipment across their fleet of Pipelay / Flexilay Vessels. ? Job description To supervise all deck operations in a safe manner following the Company Quality Health Safety & Environment (QHS&E) policy To brief the deck crew on the work scope and to ensure that they are fully aware of any safety precautions to be observed Overall control of all lifting operations and to ensure lift plans are in place and have been reviewed as necessary To ensure that project rigging is colour coded To ensure that any rigging suspected of being defective is quarantined To ensure the worksite is maintained in a clean and tidy manner with good housekeeping a priority To liaise with the Project Engineer to ensure that all project materials have been loaded prior to sailing To ensure that all loose items are thoroughly secured prior to going to sea Assist with anchor, winch, wire and rope running during berthing as directed by the Captain To transfer the product from storage location (main reels or carousels) to working/installation location To spool the pipe in a safe and orderly manner Instruct the Dynamic Positioning (DP) Operators on vessel movements, speeds and power settings along the pipe route where applicable To control pipelay tension during lay with guidance from the Senior Offshore Construction Supervisor Control all spooling and loading operations and act as a single point of contact Control the simultaneous operations between storage base and vessel You are meant for this job if you have OPITO accredited Rigging Supervisory/Intermediate certification or equivalent OPITO accredited Rigging and lifting certification or equivalent OPITO accredited Banks-man Singer certification or equivalent Valid Offshore Survival certificate / Valid Offshore Medical certificate (OGUK) / OPITO CA-EBS Initial Deployment Training / Bi-Deltoid Shoulder Measurement Offshore experience working on Flexibly and Construction Vessels?
