In this energetic role, you will operate specialized tow trucks to safely transport vehicles, assist stranded motorists, and support our commitment to excellent customer service. Your mechanical expertise and driving skills will ensure efficient operations while maintaining safety standards. Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles securely Conduct automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle condition before towing or repair Load and unload vehicles carefully, ensuring proper securing methods are followed Provide exceptional customer service by assisting stranded motorists with professionalism and empathy Perform basic automotive repairs or mechanical troubleshooting when needed Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively, ensuring safety for all parties involved Maintain accurate logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and service reports in compliance with company policies Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience operating tow trucks, especially flatbed or heavy-duty models Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics and repair Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive repair tools Ability to load, unload, and secure vehicles safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches Excellent customer service skills coupled with conflict management abilities Mechanical experience or mechanic background is highly desirable Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks throughout shifts Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise and mechanical skills make a real difference!
