Job Description

Over the Top Tents & Events is a year-round event company and are looking for hardworking, motivated, and reliable individuals to join our expanding team. We have several positions open with competitive pay and benefits, including seasonal and year-round work. •Our shop is located in Eagle River, AK and you must have reliable transportation to our shop or various job sites every day. •
Job Duties:
Safely assemble and dismantle temporary tent structures and rental accessories (stages, flooring, tables, chairs, etc.) for a variety of events such as concerts, fairs & festivals, weddings, and non-profit organizations Driving company vehicles to include Ram 5500s and 25'+ box trucks, and hauling trailers Communicate with the team regarding job orders, site conditions, equipment maintenance, and client needs; occasionally communicate with and educate clients on proper usage and safety features of rented equipment Safely operate a variety of equipment, such as forklifts, bobcats, mini loaders, stake pullers/pounders, pallet jacks, and power tools Preparing and loading equipment on/off trucks Cleaning and repairing equipment as neededWorking Conditions:
Must have a full range of motion to include lifting, standing, walking, bending, gripping, and transporting objects of various weights and dimensions for extended periods of time Exposure to general warehouse conditions, in which areas may or may not be heated and/or air-conditioned Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, i.e., rain, snow, heat, wind, etc. Possible exposure to chemicals, fuel, and cleaning solvents; personal protective equipment will be made availableJob Requirements:
Must be extremely flexible with your work schedule (various hours such as early mornings and/or late nights) and be reliable and punctual Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed (excluding those where accommodations are needed) Must have at least a valid Class D license (a CDL is NOT required) Must have a clean driving record (ex. NO DUI, reckless driving, etc. in the last 5 years) Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card Must be able to pass drug testing, including marijuana per DOT regulations (first day of employment and at any time, without notice) Must be able to get access to secure locations, such as on base Some experience driving a box truck or heavy-duty truck, preferred Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds with or without assistance Ability to think critically and logically with problem-solving and creative solution skills Must be able to work professionally and respectfully with a variety of people, including teammates, industry colleagues, clients, and members of the public High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required Must be legally eligible to work in the United States Must be able to understand and follow written and oral instructions Must have basic math skillsSalary & Benefits:
