The delivery route driver must be comfortable driving local routes that require multiple frequent stops. The job is a customer-facing position. The delivery driver is expected to provide superior customer service while delivering freight in a safe and timely manner. Must have a Class A CDL.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate company delivery trucks to make deliveries Load/unload product from truck, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas. May include transporting product up/down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions Operate a pallet jack and hand trucks Follow all DOT and company safety guidelines

Requirements:

Pallet jack: 2 years (Required) Commercial freight delivery: 2 years (Required) High school diploma or GED required Proof of valid driver's license Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering freight and interacting with customers Excellent customer service skills Must have a clean driving record (MVR) Must have or be able to obtain a valid DOT medical card Must pass a pre-employment background check, physical and drug test - no exceptions Must be able to safely lift, push, or move product that weighs up to 100 pounds continuously Must be able to climb, crouch, grasp, hear, kneel, lift, pull, push, reach, stand, stoop, talk, walk and engage in repetitive motions for up to 8 or more hours per day

Schedule/Work Hours:
