In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various trucks and heavy-duty vehicles to deliver materials, equipment, and supplies efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in commercial driving combined with mechanical knowledge will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques or truck-specific equipment, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure vehicle safety and compliance Drive assigned routes efficiently while maintaining punctuality and customer satisfaction Assist with mechanical troubleshooting or minor repairs as needed, leveraging mechanical knowledge to keep vehicles in optimal condition Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle inspection reports in accordance with company policies Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or vehicle issues Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license and clean driving record Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy-duty trucks and vehicle maintenance Experience operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading processes Skilled in driving manual transmission vehicles with precision and control Familiarity with load securing techniques for various truck types including flatbeds and roll-offs Excellent knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for heavy vehicle operation Join us as a CDL Driver and become a vital part of our logistics team!
