CDL A Truck Driver

In this vital role, you will operate quad axel dump trucks and semi trucks hauling heavy machinery to the next job site. Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer with manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Drive various types of trailers including flatbed, dump trucks, and freight carriers, depending on the assignment Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, including brakes, lights, tires, and load security Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption and minimizing delays Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, inspection reports, and delivery receipts in compliance with DOT regulations Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and recent commercial driving experience Demonstrated proficiency in driving manual transmission trucks and operating various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers or flatbeds Experience handling freight load & unload operations using forklifts or other loading equipment Knowledge of safety procedures related to tanker operations, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and other specialized vehicles Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues when necessary Strong route planning skills with a focus on efficiency and safety in all driving activities Excellent communication skills for coordination with dispatchers, customers, and team members Join us as a CDL A Truck Driver to enjoy a fast-paced environment where your driving expertise makes an immediate impact.
