Non‑Exempt About the Role Parkstone Place is seeking a dependable and courteous full time Transportation Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for our residents. This role is essential to ensuring residents can attend appointments, activities, and community outings comfortably and on schedule. The ideal candidate is patient, safety‑minded, and enjoys working with seniors. This is a
SAFETY SENSATIVE
position. Key Responsibilities Operate company vehicles safely, courteously, and in compliance with all traffic laws. Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle, including operating ramps, lifts, and securement devices. Read and interpret maps, directions, and road signage to plan efficient routes. Maintain the cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of assigned vehicles. Complete and maintain accurate records, including maintenance logs, fuel receipts, incident reports, and vehicle condition reports. Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to schedule routine and periodic vehicle maintenance. Fuel vehicles as needed and ensure they are prepared for daily use. Respond appropriately to accidents or medical situations by contacting emergency services and providing basic assistance until help arrives. Represent Parkstone Place positively and professionally while transporting residents. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license required. Acceptable driving record that meets company insurance requirements. Knowledge of vehicle operation and features preferred. Ability to identify maintenance needs and perform minor vehicle repairs preferred. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Ability to lift or assist residents and objects weighing over 50 lbs. Ability to coordinate hands, eyes, and feet in response to visual cues. Ability to assist with wheelchair securement and operate mobility equipment.
