Job Description

Overview We are seeking a Tank Wagon (CDL) Driver to join our transportation team who holds a tanker and hazmat endorsement. This role will involve you safely and efficiently delivering commercial and industrial fuels and/or lubricants across designated routes. You may install company equipment at customer locations or work within the warehouse or in a lubricant facility as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience with tank maintenance and different vehicle types, including tractor-trailers, box trucks and tanker. A strong focus on safety, route management, and load handling is essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, box trucks and tankers. Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Drive assigned routes to deliver goods on time and in excellent condition. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Follow all federal, state, and company regulations related to commercial driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues. Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical concerns promptly. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with endorsements suitable for the vehicle types operated (manual transmission experience preferred). Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery. Ability to load & unload freight safely Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and freight handling. Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance with traffic laws. Ability to work independently on routes while maintaining professionalism and punctuality. Physical capability to handle loading/unloading tasks and hours of driving.
