Roll-Off Commercial Drivers License Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Roll-Off Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate various types of trucks, including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds, to safely and efficiently transport waste, materials, or equipment. This role requires a strong focus on safety, mechanical knowledge, and excellent driving skills. Candidates must possess a valid CDL and have experience with commercial driving and heavy lifting. Responsibilities Operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to deliver or pick up materials. Load and unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment and techniques. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Ensure adherence to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations. Assist with maintenance tasks on trucks when necessary, utilizing mechanical knowledge to identify issues. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered on the road. Experience Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating heavy trucks such as dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or flatbeds. Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with roll-off trucks or similar equipment. Knowledge of mechanical systems related to large trucks and trailers. Prior experience with load & unload operations using various truck types is preferred. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous. Delivery driver experience involving heavy lifting and operating specialized trucks like front loader or rear loader is highly desirable. Strong safety record demonstrating responsible driving habits in compliance with federal and state regulations.
