In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers, ensuring timely and safe delivery of van, refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and other specialized loads. Your expertise in driving commercial trucks, coupled with your dedication to safety and customer service, will keep our operations running smoothly while providing you with rewarding driving experiences. This position offers the opportunity to travel extensively, maintain independence on the road, and be a vital part of our logistics network. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across regional or over-the-road routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary Transport various types of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, dry van, high value loads, and freight requiring specialized handling Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance before each journey Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while minimizing delays and fuel consumption Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, and any issues encountered on the road Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, and deliveries in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating tractor-trailers with manual transmissions preferred Proven truck driving experience in regional or over-the-road settings, including route driving and freight delivery Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and cargo handling Strong communication skills for effective coordination with dispatch and customers Physical ability to perform duties including lifting heavy loads and performing vehicle inspections We are open to new drivers Join us as a CDL OTR/Regional Driver and enjoy the thrill of the open road while delivering vital freight safely and efficiently.
