Meals on Wheels Driver Flagstaff - Health and Human Services (0526)

JOB Under supervision performs social or health service work of routine difficulty in providing in-home services, transportation services, or delivering "meals on wheels" to eligible clients.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

(Illustrative Only)Provides assistance to eligible clients which may include household duties, chores and errands in the community, transporting passengers to appointmentsReports unusual circumstances or problems observed with clientsMay handle small amounts of money for client shopping and laundryMay handle donationsMay provide social and emotional support and services as an advocate for recognized client needsEssential functions of this position include but are not limited to: driving; sitting to drive van; working with and around others; communicating with team members, clients, etc.; vision acuity (near and far) for driving; hearing and speech for ordinary conversation. Environmental factors include; driving in all types of weather; exposure to weather while delivering meals to client's homes; outside driving route 90% of time.
