Tow Truck Driver/Shop Hand

Job description: We're looking for tow truck drivers/ shop hand. Must reside in Kingman area (for call response times). Day shift available with some on call nights. Base pay plus commission (based on experience and performance)

Personal Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years experience. CDL not required but gladly accepted. Background check, drug and alcohol screen. Must possess valid Arizona Driver License. When applying include a current 36 month MVR (driving record). Must have ability to acquire a DOT physical. Must be willing to help out around the shop in between calls.

Job Requirements:

Great customer service skills Must be able to use mobile phone app and read and understand GPS. Strong mechanical understandings of how levers and pulleys work. Proficient in driving trucks with manual and automatic transmissions. Be able to back up combination vehicles in tight areas. Connecting disabled vehicles to the Tow Truck. Collecting payments when required. Securing loads to flatbeds and or Trailers. Operating Tow Truck Apparatuses. Transport vehicles / equipment with a flatbed tow truck. Able to complete tires changes, jump starts and fluid deliveries to stranded/ disabled motorists. Must have mechanical knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly; Sit and stand for extended periods of time; Move in and out of trucks frequently; Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
