Driver - DTA Program (Day Treatment for Adults) Lexington Learning Center Mesa, AZ Job Details Part-time $17 - $18 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications CPR Certification First aid High school diploma or GED Driver's License Direct support Full Job Description About Us Lexington Learning Center is a community-based provider dedicated to enriching the lives of adults with developmental disabilities through person-centered care. We're currently seeking a responsible and compassionate Driver to support our DTA program by providing safe and reliable transportation for our members. Responsibilities Safely transport DTA members to and from their homes, the program site, and community outings. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle at all times. Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and organizational policies. Assist individuals in and out of the vehicle, including those with mobility challenges. Conduct vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly. Communicate effectively with program staff and supervisors regarding schedules, delays, or issues. Maintain accurate transportation logs and documentation as required. Requirements Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record. Must be 21 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED preferred. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities is a plus. Ability to pass a background check, and obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. Strong communication and time-management skills. Patience, reliability, and a passion for helping others. Schedule Monday to Friday Morning and afternoon routes (exact hours vary) Occasional community outings during program hours Benefits Competitive pay Paid training Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a difference every day
