Though pending business needs could slide to other AZ sites. Position Description The Local Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional transportation of materials between local facilities, customers, and vendors. This role supports shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, material handling, documentation, and coordination with internal teams to help maintain efficient day-to-day operations. This position reports to the Inventory Supervisor for the Arizona Division. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires safe driving, frequent loading and unloading, attention to detail, and strong coordination with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production teams. We are growing and continuing to strengthen our warehouse and materials operations across multiple Arizona sites. This role is well suited for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, adaptable, and comfortable supporting changing business needs throughout the day. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, sound judgment, and a team-first mindset. Success in this role requires professionalism, reliable attendance, safe work habits, and a willingness to step in where needed to support the operation. Essential Responsibilities (Overall) Always strive to represent yourself and our culture in a positive professional manner. Embracing an adaptive/evolving environment. Essential Responsibilities Safely transport materials between local company sites, customers, and vendors. Load, unload, and secure materials using proper equipment and safe handling practices. Perform daily vehicle, forklift, and equipment safety inspections and report issues before use. Maintain accurate trip logs, inspection records, and delivery documentation. Coordinate with the materials movement, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production teams to meet daily priorities. Assist with inventory audits, material staging, and general warehouse support as needed. Follow standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and company policies at all times. Provide updates on completed, in-process, and outstanding tasks to the supervisor and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
THIS IS AN INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT WHICH REQUIRES PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES.
Required Passionate about materials management, supply chain management, and promoting a culture that aligns with SRC company values. Receive direction and work in a team environment. Minimum of 1+ years prior experience in driving, loading, and unloading flatbed trucks or box trucks. o Clean driving record with truck operations. o Familiarity with tie-downs, truck strapping, and load securing. Minimum of 1+ years prior experience in operating Class I, Class II, Class IV, and/or Class V forklift(s). o Clean operating record with forklift operations. High school diploma/equivalent or higher. Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time throughout shift. Lift up to 50lbs often. Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Team, etc.) Discipline in time management skills Strong communication skills Ability to excel in fast paced environments and be flexible to change in direction to support business and team. Stable and reliable attendance o A pattern of Late Ins, Early Outs, Unexcused Call Outs, etc. is not acceptable. Must be able to pass DOT Screening with physical and background check. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Minimum of 1-year prior experience in manufacturing. Experience working in a mid-to-large size company where gap-filling is routine. Knowledgeable about business systems and custom manufacturing Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Strong positive work ethic o Have a good history of safe work practices, focus on quality, and steady efficiency. o Personal errors in your specific department can happen, what is important is if you are able to learn from an error and move forward in a positive manner. Multi-lingual o English and Spanish are the Arizona team's top two primary languages. Fluency, consisting of reading, writing, speaking, and listening in both is recommended. Ancillary would be full comprehension in English with base understanding in Spanish while continuing to learn and develop the communication skill set overtime.
