Tow Truck Driver

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become the essential link in providing prompt, professional roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. In this energetic role, you will operate various types of commercial vehicles, including tow trucks, flatbeds, and heavy-duty trucks, to assist stranded motorists, recover vehicles from accident scenes, and support fleet operations. Your expertise in driving, and excellent communication skills will ensure safe and efficient service delivery while maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles such as tow trucks, flatbeds, and wrecker to recover and transport vehicles. Respond swiftly to roadside assistance calls, providing reliable towing and vehicle recovery services under diverse conditions. Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment like pallet jacks or winches, ensuring secure transport. Conduct routine inspections of your vehicle to verify mechanical soundness and report any maintenance needs promptly. Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and emergency responders to coordinate service details effectively. Maintain accurate logs of all service activities, including route details, vehicle condition reports, and incident documentation. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws diligently to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial driving (2 years minimum) Familiarity with operating heavy-duty vehicles such as, trailers, and box trucks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers. Experience with heavy haul operations or heavy equipment operation is a plus.
