In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various lengths of box trucks. Your primary focus will be on delivering freight efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills and contribute to the seamless movement of goods in Southern California. Duties Posess and maintain a commercial California driver license with a hazardous Materials Endorsement and an active "Med Card". Be willing and able to pass a DOT required drug test, before and during employment. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Load and secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit; unload freight at designated destinations efficiently. Safely operate a commercial box truck, ensuring compliance with all federal and state transportation laws. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity and safety. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle inspections in accordance with regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively Experience Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a Haz Mat Endorsement is required. Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a focus on safety and reliability. Prior experience driving commercially and forklift experience are highly desirable. Familiarity with load & unload procedures and the use of equipment like forklifts for cargo handling. Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations and freight handling.
