Care Partner and Driver

Job Summary This is a full time position working 30 - 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00 pm. No weekends or major Holidays. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Partners to provide exceptional support and assistance to seniors and adults with disabilities as part of a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting well-being in a respectful and professional manner. This role requires strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to handle various caregiving tasks with empathy. Responsibilities Assist program participants with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, feeding, mobility support and activities. Drive one of our shuttle buses to pick up participants at their homes and deliver them to our program site and home again in the afternoon. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent falls or accidents Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding care needs Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in condition Qualifications Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, or related fields preferred but not required Strong communication skills and compassionate nature Ability to assist with mobility using equipment such as wheelchairs or lifts Mechanical knowledge or experience operating shuttle buses with wheelchair tie downs preferred Valid driver's license with clean driving record; experience in shuttle driving is beneficial Ability to lift and move patients or equipment safely (manual handling skills) Must be reliable, patient, attentive to detail, and able to work independently or as part of a team This role offers an enriching environment for individuals committed to providing high-quality care while utilizing their diverse skills in transportation and caregiving.
